GDPR and Cookie Notice
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Our approach
AI Piano Player is built to work without accounts and without advertising or cross-site tracking. The piano runs in your browser, and we aim to collect as little data as possible.
This page explains how cookies, local storage, technical data, and GDPR-related rights may apply when you use AI Piano Player.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser.
Local storage works in a similar way, but it keeps data on your device until it is cleared by the browser, the website, or the user.
Cookies and local storage can be strictly necessary for a feature to work, or optional, such as analytics, advertising, marketing, embedded content, or preference tools.
Cookies and storage we use
The core piano experience does not require advertising cookies, marketing cookies, or cross-site tracking cookies.
Where preferences such as volume, reverb, sustain, or keyboard settings are remembered, they may be stored locally in your browser. These preferences are used to support the piano experience and are not intentionally uploaded through the piano interface.
Recordings created with the piano interface are processed locally in your browser and offered as downloadable files. They are not intentionally uploaded by AI Piano Player unless you choose to share, upload, or publish them somewhere else.
Hosting and technical processing
AI Piano Player is deployed using Cloudflare Pages and/or Cloudflare Workers.
Cloudflare and related infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver, secure, cache, debug, and operate the website. This may include IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, performance data, security events, error logs, and other technical metadata.
This technical processing is used for website delivery, security, abuse prevention, performance, debugging, and basic service operation.
Optional analytics or third-party tools
AI Piano Player does not currently require advertising or cross-site tracking cookies for the core piano experience.
If optional analytics, advertising, embedded media, contact forms, payment tools, or third-party tracking technologies are added in the future, this notice and the Privacy Policy should be updated before those tools are used.
Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies or tracking technologies should only run after consent has been given.
Managing cookies and local storage
You can delete or block cookies and clear local storage at any time from your browser settings.
Removing stored preferences may reset settings such as volume, reverb, sustain, or keyboard range, but it should not prevent you from playing the piano.
Your GDPR rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar privacy protections, you may have rights regarding personal data processed about you, including the right to request:
- access to your personal data
- correction of inaccurate personal data
- deletion of personal data
- restriction of processing
- objection to certain processing
- data portability
- withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent
Because AI Piano Player does not require an account, user profile, or login for the core piano experience, we may not be able to identify you from a request unless enough relevant information is provided.
These rights may be subject to legal limits and may not apply in every situation.
Legal bases
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, strictly necessary technical processing may rely on legitimate interests, including keeping the website secure, functional, reliable, and protected against abuse.
Functional local storage may be used to support features requested by the user, such as remembering piano-related preferences.
Any optional analytics, advertising, marketing, or non-essential tracking technologies should rely on consent where consent is required by applicable law.
Data retention
Recordings created through the piano interface are not intentionally stored by AI Piano Player.
Functional preferences stored in your browser remain on your device until they are cleared or overwritten.
Technical logs may be retained by Cloudflare or related infrastructure providers for a limited period needed for security, debugging, performance, abuse prevention, and service operation. The exact retention period may depend on Cloudflare settings and infrastructure configuration.
