Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Overview
AI Piano Player is a browser-based virtual piano. The core experience lets you play, record, replay, and download performances in your own browser.
This Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed when you use the website.
Recordings and browser-based audio
Recordings created with the piano interface are processed locally in your browser and offered as downloadable files.
AI Piano Player does not intentionally upload your recordings through the piano interface unless you choose to share, upload, or publish them somewhere else.
You are responsible for any files, performances, or recordings you choose to download, share, publish, or distribute.
Account and login
The current piano interface does not require an account, user profile, or login.
If account features are added in the future, this Privacy Policy should be updated to explain what personal data is collected, why it is collected, and how long it is retained.
Hosting and infrastructure
AI Piano Player is deployed using Cloudflare Pages and/or Cloudflare Workers.
Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver, secure, cache, and operate the website. This may include IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, security events, performance data, error logs, and other technical metadata.
This processing is used for website delivery, security, abuse prevention, performance, debugging, and basic service operation.
Technical logs
Cloudflare and related infrastructure may generate technical logs related to website requests, Worker execution, errors, exceptions, security events, and performance.
These logs are used to keep the website functional, secure, and reliable. The exact retention period may depend on Cloudflare settings, hosting configuration, and operational needs.
Cookies and local storage
The current piano interface does not require an account login.
The website may use local browser storage for functional features such as saving temporary preferences or supporting browser-based piano behavior.
If analytics, advertising, embedded media, preference tools, or other third-party services are added, they may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies. This Privacy Policy should then be updated to explain what is used and, where required, consent should be requested before non-essential cookies or tracking technologies are activated.
Third-party services
AI Piano Player currently uses Cloudflare for hosting, deployment, performance, security, and related infrastructure.
If additional third-party tools are added, such as analytics, advertising, contact forms, embedded media, payment tools, or external audio services, this Privacy Policy should be updated to identify those services and explain what data they may process.
Legal bases
Where privacy laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, technical processing may be based on legitimate interests, including keeping the website secure, functional, reliable, and protected against abuse.
Where optional analytics, advertising, marketing, or non-essential cookies are used, processing should be based on consent where required by applicable law.
Data retention
Browser-based recordings are not intentionally stored by AI Piano Player's piano interface.
Technical logs may be retained by Cloudflare or related infrastructure providers for a limited period needed for security, debugging, performance, abuse prevention, and service operation.
If direct data collection features are added in the future, such as accounts, contact forms, uploads, newsletters, or payments, this Privacy Policy should be updated with specific retention periods.
GDPR and privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal data processed about you, including the right to request:
- access to your personal data
- correction of inaccurate data
- deletion of personal data
- restriction of processing
- objection to processing
- data portability
- withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent
These rights may be subject to legal limits and may not apply in every situation.
Children
AI Piano Player is intended as a general educational and creative music tool. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal data through a related feature, they may contact the site operator to request review or deletion.
International access
AI Piano Player may be accessed from different countries. Technical data may be processed in countries where Cloudflare, hosting, infrastructure, or service providers operate.
